HEALING PHARMACY

Even the healthiest person can get sick or catch the common cold, thats how we know the immune system is working. We want our bodies to able to fight off harmful bacteria and germs quickly. So, instead of getting the flu shot, or relying on pharmaceutical drugs such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen. I want to encourage you to start building your natural holistic healing pharmacy.

Probiotics

I can go on and on about probiotics and how much I love them. Probiotics help balance the friendly bacteria in your digestive system. Things like antibiotics, food preservatives, pesticides, meat, dairy and chlorinated water all destroy good bacteria in the body. Even people with high stress will suffer from an imbalance of good gut bacteria. By taking probiotics, it is increasing the number of good bacteria which can detoxify your system and help you absorb nutrients more efficiently.

Oil Of Oregano comes from the leaves and shoots of the oregano plant. It is an effective natural antibiotic and anti-fungal. This oil contains compounds called phenols, terpenes and terpenoids, which have powerful antioxidant properties:

Cinnamon my favorite spice!! It’s made from the inner bark from trees. Loaded with tons of antioxidants. Its anti-inflammatory properties help you fight infections and repair tissue damage. What I love most is you can add it to your smoothies, detox water and oatmeal just to name a few. There are two different types of cinnamon, cassia and Ceylon. Ceylon cinnamon is know as “true” or “real” cinnamon, it is harder to find. While cassia cinnamon is known as “fake” cinnamon and is more common on the market.
